APPETIZERS
All our appetizers (other than the Prawn Cocktail) provide two generous appetizer portions and are perfect for sharing around the table or they are a great light meal for one.

Edamame with Dipping Sauce - $4
Fun to eat and great for you! Full of fat-free protein and served with our own sesame, soy and honey dipping sauce.

Prawn Cocktail - $4
Our own twist! Black Tiger shrimp, marinated with celery, tomatoes, onions and peppers. Topped with Marie Rose Sauce.

Hot Crab Dip - $9
Served with French bread, our crab dip combines fresh lump crabmeat, onion, cream cheese, lemon and the chef’s own blend of herbs and spices.

Chevre Torte (Goat Cheese) - $9
Our chevre torte is filled with homemade basil pesto and topped with diced tomatoes. Served on a bed of greens and with crusty French bread.

Toad in the Hole - $4 / $7
The great British “banger” encased in Yorkshire Pudding batter and baked to perfection. Two bangers are available in a larger size for just $7. Served with your choice of maple syrup or onion gravy. Hungry? Add a cup of soup or house/Caesar salad for just $3.50.

Caesar Salad - $8
We have been told our homemade caesar dressing keeps people coming back. Why not give it a try? Crisp romaine and parmesan cheese topped with our homemade French bread croutons. Add a grilled/blackened chicken breast for $4, grilled/blackened shrimp for $5 or grilled/blackened salmon for $6.

Macaroni and Cheese - $8 / $11
It's just really, really popular and a great begatarian option! So many customers have said "This is a keeper". So we decided to put it on the menu. Loved by all, our three cheese blend is comfort food at its finest. Served with a cup of soup or house/Caesar salad.

Hamburger Salad - $10
We invented this due to the number of customers who don't want bread. It's a growing trend. Enjoy our 100% natural (hormone and antibiotic free) 8-ounce Angus burger on a bed of mixed greens topped with the chef's choice of the day. Served with a cup of soup.

Quiche - $11
We offer Lorainne – the perfect combination of eggs, ham, bacon and Swiss cheese or Florentine – a delectable blend of eggs, onion, spinach and Swiss cheese. Served with a cup of soup or small house/caesar salad and your choice of homemade dressings.

Roasted Beet, Walnut and Goat Cheese Salad - $7 / $12
Served on a bed of mixed greens and spinach, this combination of beets, walnuts and goat cheese is not only delicious but very good for you!

Cashew Chicken Salad - $13
A generous 6-ounce chicken breast marinated in garlic, green onion, honey, soy and ginger. Grilled to perfection and served over a bed of mixed greens topped with cashews, mandarin orange segments and pineapple.

Steak and Blue Cheese Salad - $16
Fresh bed of greens topped with six ounces of USDA choice sirloin (cooked to your specification), tomatoes, scallions and fresh blue cheese crumbles. Served with your choice of our homemade dressings.

PANINIS/WRAPS
Your choice - French bread or whole wheat wrap. Want something more? Add a cup of soup or house/Caesar salad for just $3.50. These items are not served after 3pm on Friday or Saturday.

Meatloaf - $7.50
The perfect answer for meatloaf lovers. A generous slice of meatloaf topped with lettuce and tomato and finished with horseradish mayonnaise.

Brie and Fruit Chutney - $7.50
Cheese and fruit. What could be better! A perfect light lunch with melting Brie and one of our homemade chutneys.

The ‘Buffalo’ - $7.50
Melting mozzarella slices topped with sautéed spinach, tomato and topped with basil pesto. Or try it with Feta for a true taste sensation!

Brie BLT - $7.50
Just divine! melting Brie served with the traditional combination of bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. One of our customers is addicted (you know who you are!).

Chicken Pesto - $7.50
Our freshly grilled breast of chicken topped with spinach, red onions and tomatoes and finished with basil pesto.

Chicken and Mozzarella - $7.50
Melting mozzarella and our own orange basil sauce combine with a grilled chicken breast for true yumminess! Delicious indeed!

Bacon, Blue Cheese and Spinach - $7.50
Applewood smoked bacon and spinach layered with melting blue cheese.

Turkey, Stuffing and Cranberry - $7.50
Memories of Thanksgiving and Christmas throughout the year! Grilled smoked turkey breast, stuffing (yes, just like the kind you’re used to!) and Cranberry chutney.

Chicken and Smoked Cheddar - $7.50
Our most popular sandwich! Grilled breast of chicken, Applewood smoked bacon, smoked cheddar and topped with our homemade peach Dijon mustard sauce.

Blackened Catfish - $9
A 6-ounce portion of North Carolina catfish topped with lettuce, tomato and our homemade remoulade. “Outstanding” and “exquisite” are just two of the adjectives customers have used to describe it. And yes, we make our own blackening in-house.

'Hot Brown' - $9
Our version is made with ham, turkey, Swiss and tomato. Served open-faced and topped with our own tarragon parmesan cream sauce.

ENTREES
Most all entrees are served with soup or house/caesar salad, starch and vegetable selection du jour. Whenever possible, we offer a small and regular portion., hence the two prices. 


Cottate Pie - $11 / $14
Our cottage pie is made with beef. Topped with mashed potatoes it has carrots, onions, peas and mushrooms in a rich gravy.

Calves Liver and Onions - $11 / $14
We ran this as a special for a few nights and sold out every night. So, it's now on the menu. Lightly floured and pan seared to perfection, we can even add some bacon if you like. Served with mashed potatoes.

Meat Loaf - $11 / $14
Flavorful and juicy, our mixture of ground chuck and pork combines with a special blend of vegetables, herbs and spices is sure to be one of your favorites! Served with our homemade steak sauce.

Chicken 'n Dumplings - $11 / $14
Our all whitemeat chicken 'n dumplings is 'chock full' of roast chicken and vegetables. Served with our homemade dumplings, it's sure to please. We guarantee it.

Northern Indian Curry - $11 / $14
We offer a chucken curry (medium heat) made with onions, garlic, ginger, tomatoes and our own special blend of spices. We promise it's not too hot for most palates, but you can easily make it 'unhot' with a side of yoghurt. Just ask! This dish is served with rice.

Vegetarian Muffin - $14
After Chicken 'N Dumplings and Tilapia, this is our most popular dish. We promise you won't miss the meat! Made with mushrooms, walnuts, cheddar cheese and rice, this dish is one we are super, super proud of. As an added bonus this dish is made with rice, making it gluten free. Served with our homemade steak sauce.

Salmon Cakes - $12 / $16
Our customers say they're the best cakes around! Based on our meatload recipe and 'chock full of vegetables', our salmon cakes are made with freshly poached salmon and sauteed until golden with a panko crust. Served with our homemade remoulade.

Shrimp Scampi - $13 / $18
Black Tiger Shrimp baked to perfection in butter, garlic (of course!), lemon and white wine.

Crab Cakes - $13 / $18
Coated with panko and sauteed until golden, our jumbo lump crabmeat combines perfectly with our special blend of seasonings. Served with our homemade remoulade.

Vegetarian Muffin - $14
After Chicken 'N Dumplings and Tilapia, this is our most popular dish. We promise you won't miss the meat! Slow simmered for deep flavor, our alfredo sauce has been called 'excellent' and 'fabulous' by our customers. Have it plain, or add a grilled/blackened chicken breast for $4, grilled/blackened shrimp for $5 or grilled.blackened salmon for $6.

Flounder - $15
Our super-generous 8-ounce flounder filet is panko-encrusted and sauteed until golden. Served with our homemade remoulade.

Fresh Tilapia - $19
Our most popular dish! Sautéed until golden, our tilapia is topped with shrimp and our own lobster sherry cream sauce.

Always wild caught and always fresh! Ask your server for selection and preparation.

Filet Mignon - $22
A nice portion - 6-ounce - of USDA Choice filet cooked to your specifications and served with our homemade steak sauce.

Mrs G and Me! prepares every dish at the time your order is placed. Please be patient with certain dishes as it takes us just as long to cook your chicken breast as it would if you cooked it at home.We use only the finest, freshest ingredients available in the preparation of all menu items. Certain dishes may be unavailable or a substitution may be made if the quality of any ingredients were not up to the chef’s specifications. A 20% gratuity may be added to parties of six or more.
